Friday, April 10, 2020, 1pm to 4pm Traditional Wire Wrapped Cabochon Copper Ring Workshop with Susan Gardner
This is a fun and addicting workshop! Learn to make these very easy and very exciting cabochon wire wrapped rings, using square and round copper wires, flat back cabochon stones and traditional wire wrapping techniques.
In this workshop, students will learn to take a basic measurement for creating a ring. They will learn how to use the ring mandrel and other basic hand tools associated with wire wrapping.
This ring shank and technique will open a world of exciting possibilities to the wire wrapping enthusiast and rock hound! What a wonderful way to sport your beloved collection of stones!
All basic copper materials, student stone and tools for use, will be provided in class and are included with your registration. After class, you get the full PDF digital pattern emailed to you so you can create more at home with your own favorite stones!
Upgraded materials such as sterling silver wires and additional cabochon stones will be available in class for purchase.
Students will learn and create a gorgeous wire wrapped cabochon ring in class and then the room will remain open for any students who want to stay and make another.
Come to the show early, shop for a favorite stone, come to class and learn how to set it! This workshop is great for any skill level.

20 seats maximum.
Students must be 16 or older to come to class alone.
Students 12-15 must be with parent or guardian.
Minimum student age is 12.
